Fences

Fences are consisting gratings, posts and bolt sets to fix the posts to the ground. Gratings have special banding plates with holes which allows fixation with special bolts. Gratings used in fences are usually pressure locked gratings with 25x2mm or 25x3mm bearing bars. Grating bearing bars and pitches can differ according to Project or customer needs.

Half Cell Gratings

Half Cell Gratings are produced by using bearing bars and flat cross bars. This grating type named as Half Cell Gratings because the cross bar heights are usually half or 1/3 of the bearing bar heights. In Half Cell Gratings the flat cross bars are put in the notches that are slitted on the bearing bars and welded in certain intersection points. Half Cell Gratings are generally used in ships, shelf and storage systems, treatment facilites and in architectural applications.

Mesam Metal was founded in Ankara to be a professional solution partner for its customers.

Apart from the headquarters in Ankara, there are also Sales Offices in Istanbul and in Bursa specifically aiming at providing services for our business partners in the Marmara Region of Turkey.

The main product that we supply is gratings. Gratings are especially used as walkways, drainage channels, stairs, facades, fences and also for architectural purposes. We provide the gratings both as finished products which are cut, banded and coated according to the project and also as grating panels ready to be cut by size at the site by the customer.

Main grating types we supply are: Forge-welded gratings, Pressure-Locked gratings, Gratings with twisted cross bars, half cell and full cell gratings. Gratings can be produced from different materials. The majority of the gratings we supply are steel gratings. The preferred surface treatment of steel gratings is galvanized according to DIN EN ISO 1461. Steel gratings can also be supplied in painted according to RAL colours or in self-colour without any surface treatment. Stainless Steel Gratings and Aluminum gratings can also be supplied by Mesam Metal.

We also produce Fence Systems. Variable mesh size and dimensions are available in Fence gratings according to the customer requests. Fences are supplied with posts and fixing materials and in hot dip galvanized or painted in RAL colours.
